helping Kellogg make space at the table, and inspire their organization
why
To make Kellogg’s longstanding commitments to equity, diversity, and inclusion visible to all, and inspire every employee to be personally invested in creating change.
how
By finding a perfectly Kellogg way to talk about ED&I, striking a balance between the organization’s signature playfulness and the gravitas the issue deserves.
what
A distinct look, tone, and feel for ED&I at Kellogg, language to rally around, and launch materials to help start a brand new conversation.
my role
Over the course of about a year, I was part of a team redesigning Kellogg’s employer branding. It was a major undertaking that involved interviews with almost 100 Kellogg employees, and a careful deployment strategy. In 2020, after that work had been completed, Kellogg examined and redoubled their commitments to ED&I and chose Design B&B to help them craft a tagline and manifesto, along with a brand identity for ED&I at the organization. I was honored to lead the work and the client relationship, as I was passionate both about Kellogg’s culture and furthering equity at a major global employer. This one was a major collaborative effort on our end and with Kellogg.
